Axis Jet today announced the launch of Axis Shares, a unique program allowing turn-key, one-third ownership of a turboprop King Air C90B.
"This program provides an unparallel experience for business travelers that want all the convenience of a superior customer service travel experience at a much lower cost than charter, fractional or other ownership programs," said Dan Kimmel, Axis co-founder.
Axis Shares uses an established set of guidelines that provides a predictable partnership environment. The opportunity to dilute fixed costs and make efficient use of the aircraft combined with the oversight of an experienced management company is a simple solution for anyone looking for alternatives to 100% aircraft ownership.
Initial cost for a one-third share is $575k and assumes each owner will use the aircraft 20 to 100 flight hours per year. Partnership owners will benefit from Axis Jet's entire managed fleet by enjoying significant fuel, hangar, insurance and pilot training discounts.
"This is a seamless ownership experience where the program provides all of the benefits of a owning a company aircraft, but without eliminates some of the headaches and politics that sometimes outweigh the benefits of a partnership," said Matt Bosco Axis Jet co-founder. "Our clients demand privacy and productivity and owning a company aircraft, or a share of one, multiplies productivity by allowing passengers to conduct private business en route."
The King Air C90B is a good example of flying - and working - in luxury. The aircraft features five leather passenger seats, entertainment system, full refreshment center and a large table suitable for work space.
"Owning an aircraft is like having a personal time machine," Bosco said. "It's a business tool that puts more time in your day. We're offering the chance for more companies to operate a private aircraft to grow and expand their business."
