Axis Jetis proud to announce that Scott Malandrone has been promoted to the position of Chief Pilot.

Malandrone is responsible for pilots assigned to Axis Jet aircraft, and assists in training and flight standards. Having served with the company since 2004, Malandrone is an Airline Transport Pilot and holds Multi-Engine Instrument, Commercial Pilot Single Engine Land, and Certified Flight Instructor (CFI, CFII, MEI) ratings. He is also type rated in the King Air 300/350. As a key member of the Axis Jet team, he also serves as a pilot for the Axis Jet fleet and takes pride in every detail related to each flight.

”Scott has played a key role in the growth and success of our company,” said Dan Kimmel. “We feel fortunate to have him lead our flight crews and impact the direction of we take in the future.”

Axis Jet manages a Gulfstream III at Scottsdale Airport in Scottsdale, AZ and a Citation II in Medford, OR in addition to its Sacramento-based charter fleet of King Air turboprop aircraft.
