Jack Mulder
Director of Operations
Jack Mulder’s background includes Navy Jet flight instructor, Assistant Aviation Commander for the Washington State Patrol, 135 Chief Pilot and Director of Operations for northern California charter flight operations.  Today, as Director of Operations at Axis Jet, Jack says it is all the elements of the job, the chemistry, that he likes best. "It's the sum of the parts that make the job enjoyable.  There are so many aspects such as managing, flying, customer service and the inter-action with all the flight crews that keep the job interesting," says Mulder.  His experience includes 36 years and over 13,000 hours.  He is also a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI, CFII, MEI) and has instructed in turboprops and jet aircraft. Jack's primary responsibility includes flight duties and the overall management of the flight department. "Because Axis Jet is a small company, it recognized and utilizes the resources of its employees. Group meetings are often held to not only solve dispatch problems, but to deal with any other issues that may arise," adds Mulder. "Taking care of our customers is important and we have to have the flexibility to deal with change.  Our chain of command has a starting point like most companies, but the owners and employees keep each other in the communication loop so that as many people are available to make the necessary decisions."  Jack is a graduate of the University of Oregon with a B.S. degree and enjoys sailing, walking and reading novels.  To contact Jack Mulder, please email jack@axisjet.com
